25 speaker: Capt. John Greska,
a charter captain who runs Janina Fishing Charters out
of Little River, Waquoit Bay.He is going to discuss fishing
for trophy Stripers, Blues, Bonito etc. on the waters of Nantucket
and Vineyard Sounds. Workshop (6:30PM):
When, Where, How for early season stripers.

30: Lou Mackeil's "Catch a Fish" Class starts at Sandwich
Community HS 7-9PM for 8 weeks on Monday nights. Call 508-888-5300

22 speaker: Dean Clark sharing
his award winning photographic skills and his 50+ years experience
fishing the salt waters around Cape Cod with a fly rod. He
caught his first striper in 1946 (on a fly!) and he has been
chasing
bass, blues, bonito, albacore and other surprising species every
year since.
Dean will bring his refreshing candor and unpretentious
attitude to his
presentation. Some consider fly fishing to be an elite and exclusive
endeavor but Dean approaches it with a more practical and results
based
philosophy. Everyone will come away from the evening questioning
their own
fishing methods and approaches after listening to Dean's down
to earth and
practical presentation. Workshop:

3: River Day Kids Fishing Derby in Marstons Mills.
May
15: Salties Cod Fishing Trip. Cost is $40 per person. Sign up
form is in Newsletter. Capt John Boats 7AM - 3PM.
Various
Shore/Kayak trips and 1 Day Derbies are being planned this year.
Stay Tuned!

27: Salties Codfish Dinner (no speaker). Cost is $5 per person.
There will be a raffle also.

13: Learn to Fish Day at West Dennis Beach. Open to the public.

24 speaker: Garrett Lascola, a very knowledgable fly
fishing guide from the Goose Hummock Shop in Orleans. He is
going to discuss fly fishing for Stripers on the Brewster Flats.
Workshop: Big Tuna from small boats (6:30PM)
