June 18 speaker: Mo Tremblay . Mo will describe the evolution of the saltwater fishing rod from the early wooden sticks to the light weight composite rods of today. Hewill bring along some of his rod collection to show the changes in appearance and performance which have taken place over the last century. Workshop: Terry Tessein on rigging jigheads and plastics.

July 18: Fluke Trip (Check BB-Announcements for more details)

July 23 speaker: Nuno Fragoso, Program Manager,  UNH Large Pelagics Research Center. His talk, on the tagging of juvenile tuna,is entitled "Tag-a-Tiny". Nuno will have available, at cost, tagging kits for interested members. Workshop: TBA

August 27 speaker: Captain  Jeff Smith of Fin Addiction Charters.  Jeff is a light tackle fly  fishing guide on the outer cape and will be talking about jigging and  popping for bluefin tuna with light tackle as well as striped bass  fishing with the long rod. Workshop: TBA

September 24 speaker will be Shannon Eldredge, a Nantucket Sound weir fisherperson. She is going to discuss the construction of the weirs, how they work, and the types of fish they target. Workshop TBA
